The format of this machine combines the very best in handling and cycle
parts available. 16″ 1/2 ‘ wheels, fully adjustable rising rate suspension, materials throughout means the M3R offers the very best in steering, handling and braking precise, controllable steering under all conditions.
Apart from a small increase in the wheel base, necessary to accommodate fuel injection systems, the steering geometry is virtually identical to our Formula 1 racing machines.
The full loop frame is constructed from Reynolds 531 steel tube with all joints fully profiled and manganese bronze welded. The swing arm and rocker arm are aluminium fabrications, heat treated twice during construction to ensure high strength and low weight, and the specially developed suspension unit is controlled by an indirect linkage system giving a true rising rate.
The front suspension choice is optional with all components offered being genuine road race derivatives.These manufacturing techniques and components coupled with Dymag wheels, Lockheed brakes and discs, Aeroquip brake hosing and the and the best possible materials throughout means the M3R offers the very best in steering,handling and braking.
However, superb road holding is not the only important feature of a machine designed to be sold in kit form. lt must be easy to assemble,comfortable, reliable and affordable. To this end, we have carefully designed the chassis to accept the standard fuel injection and electrical systems without modification, and as with previous Magnums, the M3R can be built initially using our frame kit with the option to uprate to the full rolling chassis specification when and if required.
We have also paid particular attention to rider comfort and styling. With this in mind, we contacted well-known stylist John Mockett to work closely with us on the cosmetics of the seat , tank and the fairing to produce the clean, stylish lines of the M3R
